Visit to Rietfontein Private Nature Reserve, Matjiesfontein

I was privileged to spend a night at Rietfontein as guest of Niekie Rust. The Spring flowers are coming along nicely. Here is a selection, I won't pretend to identify them, they are so different from ours here! Click on any image to enlarge.

This one below I know as 'Kruimsiek' because after rain the new growth can be poisonous to sheep and cause stiffness in the neck.
